CAREWORKS HEALTH SERVICES, a California licensed home health, medical staffing and in-home care services agency, was established in 2010. It is owned and operated independently, and has retained the same dedicated staff since it first opened.

Founder and President

“I was 13 when I became a caregiver for my dad, who suffered a stroke which paralyzed his left side. It was hard on the entire family because the amount of care he required was 24/7 and could barely be met by family caregivers. This is the reason why I started my home care agency. Caregivers make a huge difference in the quality of life on those who cannot perform all their activities of daily living. Had we known that home healthcare was an option, we would have hired a caregiver to help out so we could have peace of mind.”

Anh has a wealth of experience from her 5+ years in owning and operating a home care agency. and her entire family have consisted of caregivers. Her mother is a retired respiratory therapist, brother is a nurse practitioner, sister-in-law is studying for her doctorate in nursing & nurse practitioner license, and father was a social worker. Her caregivers and staff have serviced hundreds of families in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Thousands of hours have been dedicated to searching and recruiting for that ideal caregiver that families would love. Elderly assistance has been a passion from a young age.

Between 2014-2015, Anh has served on the local and national board of American Board of Home Care, a non-profit organization which mission is to promote ethical and legal business practices in the home care industry.

“I was inspired to work in the senior care industry after living through the experience of witnessing my grandmother’s deteriorating heath, after her passing, I knew I wanted a career that would allow me to help those who are unable to help themselves. As the HR Recruiter, my main job is to find quality home care aides to serve our clients. I have previous experience working in the Human Resources field, what I enjoy most is being able to interact with people from diverse backgrounds. Outside of work, I enjoy attending outdoor music festivals, practicing yoga, or reading new books. I love books that focus on self-development, a favorite book of mine is called “Material Girl, Mystical World”, which talks about modern spirituality in the 21st century.”

Scheduling Coordinator and Future Occupational Therapist

“Jenna joined the CareWorks team in May 2017. In her role as Staffing Coordinator, she assesses the caregivers and clients profile and personality to assure a good match for both the caregiver and client. She is recently graduated from Cal State University of Dominguez Hills with her bachelors in community health science and plans to become an occupational therapist. Jenna was motivated to join the health care industry when her brother was diagnosed with Autism. She spent her free time in high school volunteering for special education programs, and that is when she realized that the health care industry needs more passionate employees. In her spare time, she enjoys paddle boarding, photography, hiking, and spending time with her cat.”

In my spare time, I enjoy taking my two boys paddle boarding, I love to hiking, travel, and enjoy readings from my favorite author Paulo Coelho. I earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Marketing from Cal State Dominguez Hills.”
